Jimi Hendrix Flying V Guitar

 Signed By:  Not Signed

Insurance (optional):

This is a black Flying V guitar that has been handpainted to replicate the Psychedelic guitar once owned by Jimi Hendrix.

The original guitar (a 1967 Gibson Flying V) was handpainted by Jimi Hendrix with nail polish and was used several times in concert from 67-68. It was also featured on “All Along The Watchtower”, “Catfish Blues” and “Little Miss Strange”. Jimi gave the guitar to his friend Mick Cox in 1969, and it later ended up with David Brewis of Rock Stars Guitars. At that point, the guitar had lost its original paintwork done by Hendrix, but it was successfully restored/replicated in 1999.

In 2006, Gibson released 300 limited edition replicas priced at $12,300. They now sell for $15,000.

Our replica version has been fully handpainted with visible paint strokes to match the original. The design is instantly recognizable as psychedelic Hendrix. This is your chance to own a unique piece of memorabilia for a fraction of the cost.
